There are new development permit appications and guides available below. If you have a development project in mind, we encourage you to contact the Development Services Department early in the process to make sure that your permitting requirements are met. We look forward to helping developers with any questions they may have during the permitting process.
If your property is located within a Development Permit Area (PDF 675 KB) as designated in the Village’s Official Community Plan, then you will be required to obtain a Development Permit. Generally, Development Permits are required for all commercial and multi–family residential development in the Village. For more information refer to the appropriate section of the OCP and Zoning Bylaw, or contact the Development Services Department.
