Advisory Planning Commission

The mandate of the Advisory Planning Commission is to provide, at the request of council, advice on planning and related matters. The APC will consider a wide range of issues, including (but not limited to):

  • Land use planning (Official Community Plan/Local Plans, Zoning)
  • Economic Development
  • Community Planning
  • Broader transportation planning issues/local traffic planning issues and development
  • Development Permit Applications
  • Development Variance Permit Applications
  • Temporary Commercial & Industrial Use Permits
