All programs below will be starting on September 26th 2011 and ending on March 23, 2012.
FREE!: Drop-In Hockey (Afternoon)
EVERY WEDNESDAY at 12:00pm to 1:30pm

DROP-IN RULES
- Must be 19 Years of Age or Older to Participate
- No Hitting
- Be Respectful of All Players
- Follow Arena Staff Instructions
- Play Safe
Required Equipment:
- Helmet
- Gloves
- Stick
- Skates

Morning Hockey Drop-In
EVERY THURSDAY at 6:30am to 7:45am.
$6.00 per person!
All that wake up early are welcome to drop-in and play a quick game of hockey before work or school.
Required Equipment:

Parents & Tots

$4.00 Per family with kids under 6 years of age!

Public Skating
EVERY FRIDAY at 7:30pm to 8:30pm

RECREATION PROGRAMS
The programs below are being offered by Village Recreation at different locations in Burns Lake.
FREE! X-Country Ski Program

THIS PROGRAM IS MADE POSSIBLE BY HAMPTON AFFILIATES
Location: Omineca Ski Club
Date & Time: Every Tuesday at 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Transportation: Provided to and from ski club. Pick up location at Tom Forsyth Memorial Arena concession entrance between 12:40pm and 12:55pm. Max Capacity for transportation is 6 passengers.
Equipment: Skis, Polls, and wax will be provided (while supplies last) for those that do not have equipment. If you have your own equipment please bring it.
Lessons: Gloves, toques, snow pants, winter jacket and dress in layers. Water will be provided.
MUST BE 18 YEARS & OLDER TO ATTEND
FREE! 3 On 3 Hockey Tournament
Great opportunity to have some FREE day time fun with a 3 On 3 Hockey Tournament. Sign up your teams of 4 to 6 players for this entraining tournament.

How to Register:
Registration forms are available at Blue Jay Sports and Village of Burns Lake Office. Please Click HERE to receive a copy of the 3 On 3 Hockey Tournament Registration form. Registration forms can be dropped off at Blue Jay Sports and the Village of Burns Lake Office.
Event Description:
- Each team needs 4 to 6 players
- Team Jerseys might be provided, please make sure your team has light and dark coloured jerseys
- Must be 18 years and older to play
- Please read the 3 On 3 rules attached to the registration form
- No goalies needed
- No physical contact allowed
iNDOOR PLAYSPACE
iNDOOR PLAYSPACE
The Indoor PlaySpace is a great activity for families and their children (ages 1 to 5) to be active through out the winter. There will be games, equipment and more for everyone to play.
Children and their families will learn about physical literacy (run, jump, throw, balance, coordination and team play) in a fun, safe and warm atmosphere.
- EVERY Tuesday at 4:00pm to 5:30pm
- EVERY Thursday at 4:00pm to 5:30pm
- Indoor Shoes
- Suitable Clothing
- Water Bottles (Optional)
Remember this drop-in program is FREE and there is limited space available (Maximum 12 children) per session.
